If you want to see the behind the scenes of the Georgetown Texas Photography Festival why not volunteer. Each volunteer will be assigned to stay with one of our featured photographers and or be with the photography instructors. We also need some help moving the photo racks into the businesses on the square who are hosting a featured photographer. The racks are light weight so even I can carry one. Let me know if you are willing to volunteer.
It is amazing all the planning it takes to produce an event. The Georgetown Texas Photography Festival is now in it's second year. We are growing this year by adding photography classes. To register for the classes visit: Williamson Museum I am very excited to have the classes as something new this year.
We wil also be doing portfolio reviews for the first time too. Hope anyone who wants to do this will join us Friday night the 20th of March in the historic court house at 7pm. There is a great line up of professional photographers available to review your portfolio. Don't forget to engage with the featured photographers Saturday March 21 from 10am-4pm during the festival. I'm sure some of us will wind up at the Mesquite Creek Outfitters Saturday after the festival. See all y'all on the square. The plans are really coming together for the March 21,2020 Georgetown Texas Photography Festival. Several new businesses on the Square have agreed to participate hosting a featured photographer. Several folks have stepped up to teach photography classes and our photowalks will be scheduled through out the day. Can't wait to see everyone there. Stay tuned for more details. Well it looks like we will be having some photography classes this next year March 21,2020. The classes will be held in the Historic Court House on the Square in Georgetown,Texas. Registration will be through the web site of the Williamson Museum. www.williamsonmuseum.org There won't be any new information on the Georgetown Texas Photograhy Festival till early next year. We are also planning several scheduled photo walks during the day. Those will also be listed on the Williamson Museum web site.
