We were able to count over 700 in attendance with photographers from all over the state of Texas in attendance. I talked to photographers from Ft.Worth, Dallas, Houston, College Station, Longview, San Antonio, Austin and numerous other communities, This year we hosted the featured photographers, held a photo walk and were supported by Precision Camera and Nikon USA. Next year we plan on adding photography classes to the mix and may show a documentary film about the Presidential Photographers. Plans are already being made for the 2nd Annual Georgetown Texas Photograhy Festival hosted by David Valdez and The Williamson Museum. The Williamson Museum offers free and exciting hands-on educational programs to the public though innovative exhibits, tours and outreach such as the annual Georgetown Texas Photography Festival. The next photography festival will be held March 21,2020 on the square in beautiful Georgetown,Texas. This coming year will be bigger and better than last year. Right now we are planning on adding photography classes to the festival. With the growth on the square we may be able to feature more photographers than we did last year.
